I’m Karen Foster. Pacific Northwest native, of Black and Caribbean & heritage, a HBCU graduate, and a community connector. Born with a heart to serve, I am a champion for Black women and a changemaker creating equitable spaces for all historically excluded communities.
Using my God-given gifts, as Founder and Event Producer of KF Curates. I help businesses and organizations move from ideation to execution. As a thought partner, I collaborate with clients to bring their purposeful event vision to life through strategy, coordinating logistics, production and day of event management.
As a lover of details, my superpower is found in managing all the behind-the-scenes details. Known for my proven ability to curate flawlessly executed events and strategic ability to beautifully capture vision, skillfully coordinate logistics and meticulous attention to detail cultivating a memorable experience. I eliminate the stress and guesswork out of event planning and make space for my clients to work on other important things with ease.
I am also the co-founder of The Visionary Squad, a community based organization that sees the power behind the story of every Black woman and creates space for her to be heard through building community and collective healing. I am also the Experience Curator behind The 2020 Ain’t Cancelled! series, a webby nominated virtual mental wellness series produced during the COVID-19 pandemic.
